Coffee drinks

Flat white, cappuccino, latte
Whole milk as standard; oat, soy and lactose-free at no extra charge. Latte art included, no promises on swans.
Milchkaffee in a bowl
The one the regulars order. Two shots, a lot of steamed milk, served in a cup you hold with both hands.
Iced filter & espresso tonic
From April to September. Cold brew steeped 18 hours, and an espresso tonic with orange peel that locals have started ordering in winter too.
Filter by the cup
A single-origin on the brew bar changes every fortnight. Refills are half price for as long as you stay.
Hot chocolate & chai
Real dark chocolate melted into milk, and a masala chai simmered in the pot rather than squeezed from a syrup bottle.
Tea, by the pot
Loose leaf, weighed out, with hot water topped up free of charge.
Black tea by the pot
Assam, Earl Grey, Darjeeling first and second flush. Served as a Kännchen — about two and a half cups.
Green & white
Sencha, jasmine pearls and a Silver Needle for slow afternoons. Timer on the table so nothing stews.
Caffeine-free
Rooibos vanilla, lemon verbena, peppermint and a winter fruit blend that smells like the Christmas market.
From the kitchen
Baked for the day, not for the week. When it's gone, it's gone.
Cake counter
Fourteen cakes on rotation: cheesecake, carrot, Sachertorte, Pflaumenkuchen in season, plus a vegan and a gluten-free option every day.
Morning pastries
Butter croissants, Franzbrötchen and poppy-seed snails, delivered warm at 7:15 and gone by lunchtime.
Small savoury
Two open sandwiches on dark bread, a soup of the day in the colder months, and a proper Käsebrot for anyone who skipped breakfast.

Whole cakes to order
Order any of our cakes whole with 48 hours' notice — birthdays, office leaving-dos, Sunday visitors.
Corner table for groups
Up to ten people at the long table at the back. Ask ahead and we'll keep it free.
Beans & leaves to take home
House blend beans by the 250g bag, ground how you like, plus loose-leaf tea in tins.
